Role of the tensile constitutive modeling on the structural response of fiber reinforced concrete flat slabs: A numerical study

چکیده
For decades, fiber reinforced concrete (FRC) has been primarily used in elements for which the consequences of potential failure are minor, like slabs on grade and precast tunnel segments, just to name a few examples. With reference supported walls and/or columns, use fibers as partial or main reinforcement increased over last 15 years. Despite existence advanced design codes fib Model Code 2010, experimental data, standing buildings that prove technical feasibility FRC, there still barriers its at wider scale. Technical aspects such uncertainties identification procedure FRC uniaxial tensile laws influence post-cracking strength class serviceability ultimate limit states response among factors prevent larger diffusion FRC. In this paper, role played by several constitutive models—among those most commonly both research practice—on structural flat is investigated. The effect numerical modeling choices (i) shell brick (ii) material homogeneity heterogeneity along slab thickness also examined.
